I am an Associate Professor in Neurosciences at Toulouse III University. My research projects at CRCA focus on the neural basis of behaviour of bees. I am interested in the role of GABA and glutamate in learning and memory and evaluate the impact of pesticides on bees.
I did my thesis in Paul Bessou lab at Toulouse on monoamines in chemosensory perception then I moved to Paris in Yehezkel Ben-Ari lab and studied excitotoxicity and ischemia.
I got a lecturer position in 1993 and I always been involved in collective responsabilities at the University, and I am currently responsible for gender equality at Toulouse III.
